General terms and conditions
Metafort – 2025

• The rates of our rooms and cottages are becoming dynamic, adapting to the season, the day of the week and the level of the touristic demand in our beautiful region.
• Our prices are quoted in euros, all taxes included (VAT included), excluding tourist taxes, based on occupancy by 2 people. They are per room and per night.
• A tourist tax of 0.70 euros (incl. VAT) per person per night will be charged in addition.
• Our rates include:
• homemade breakfast served in the dining room,
• daily maid service (except Sundays),
• towels, pool towels

and the use of a large communal kitchen, shared fridge and barbecue.

Reservations:

• Rooms can be booked for 2 or more consecutive nights in February, March, April, September, October and November, and for 3 or more consecutive nights during the long weekends in April, May and June, and in June, July and August
• The only exception is “the Flat”, which can be booked for stays of 7 consecutive nights or more in July and August (breakfast included).
• Arrivals at Metafort are every day from 4pm and on the day of your departure, the room or gite must be vacated by 11am.
• A deposit of 50% of the total cost of your stay is required at the time of booking. You will then receive confirmation of your booking by e-mail.
• Payment methods: we accept payment by credit card (Master Card, Visa), cheque or ANCV paper and ANCV Connect vacation vouchers, cash or bank transfer (all in euros). Bank transfer charges are payable by the customer.
• Cancellation policy:
  • You can cancel your stay free of charge up to 30 days before arrival (in which case we will refund your deposit).
  • In the event of cancellation between 30 days and 15 days before arrival, 20% of the total amount will be charged.
  • In the event of cancellation within 15 days of arrival, 50% of the total cost of the stay will be charged.
  • In the event of early departure or no-show, we reserve the right to charge the full amount of the stay.
• Gift vouchers issued by Metafort are valid for a minimum of 2 consecutive nights.

Rules in Metafort guest house:

• Our house is perched high above the Nesque gorges, and the pool overflows very deeply. For obvious safety and insurance reasons, we accept infants and then children aged 14 and over. If required, we can provide you with a cot. Please let us know at the time of booking so that we can guarantee availability.
• Our guesthouse has many steps and most rooms are on the upper floor, without an elevator. Metafort is therefore not suitable for people with motor difficulties.
• Following several unfortunate experiences, we regret that we are no longer able to welcome your pets. We do, however, have a dog.
• All Metafort rooms and common areas are non-smoking. An ashtray is available on the garden porch. It is strictly forbidden to smoke on the edge of the gorge, for obvious reasons of fire risk. We reserve the right to impose fines in the event of non-compliance.
• For reasons of hygiene, we do not allow in-room catering.
• The information presented on our website takes precedence over all information published by our partners, including reservation and cancellation policies. The present conditions of sale may be modified at any time without prior notice.

Privacy policy

Privacy/RGPD: we protect the confidentiality of the personal information you transmit to us. This information remains confidential and is used for administrative purposes and to organize your stay. The data collected is kept for the legal retention period relative to the purpose of the processing and for a maximum of 5 years.
